Question:  Are probiotics just for sick dogs?

Answer:  No. All dogs may be given probiotics daily as an essential supplement.  Probiotics are as important as vitamins and should be taken daily. Your dog’s gut is their primary immune system organ.

Question:  How fast can I expect to see results with Tummy Treats?

Answer:  Every dog is different. Some dogs may see results in as little as 2-3 days. However, it may take 4-6 weeks. We recommend giving Tummy Treats daily for 4-6 weeks before getting the full benefit of the probiotics. 

Question:  How should I give Tummy Treats?

Answer:  Tummy Treats should be given 1-2 times a day on an empty stomach.  Probiotics work better if you give them at least 30 minutes before a meal in the AM or at bedtime.  

Question:  How long should I keep giving my dog Tummy Treats?

Answer:  It is a smart choice to continue probiotic therapy as a wellness regimen.  By giving Tummy Treats daily, you may support the gut, your dog’s primary immune organ system. Always consult your veterinarian before starting any supplement program. 

Question:  How do probiotics help my dog?

Answer:  Probiotics aka “friendly bacteria” may help to increase the levels of the friendly bacteria and crowd out bad/unhealthy bacteria which can cause illness and malnutrition. 

Question:  Are there any side effects of giving my dog probiotics? 

Answer:  Probiotics have no known side effects although introducing anything new may cause diarrhea. 

Question:  Do probiotics interact with other medications?

Answer:  No. It is safe to take Tummy Treats with medications. Always consult your veterinarian before starting Tummy Treats if your dog is on medication.

Question:  Can I give probiotics to my puppy?

Answer:  Yes.  Because your puppy has a developing immune system it may be a good idea to give Tummy Treats to help support their body against developing allergies and other digestive and immune conditions. Consult your veterinarian before starting any supplement plan.

Question:  Can probiotics help with my dog’s yeast infection?

Answer:  Yeast infections in dogs are typically treated with drugs, but many times yeast infections can be avoided and improved through health maintenance support such as Tummy Treats. If your dog already has a yeast infection you should see your vet. Tummy Treats are a great choice that may help prevent infections in dogs prone to them in the future.

Question:  Are your supplements made in the USA?

Answer:  Yes.  All our supplements are made in a GMP compliant and FDA inspected facility in the United States with US and Globally sourced ingredients.

Question:  Do you use heat to manufacture Tummy Treats?

Answer:  No.  We use a no heat manufacturing process that maintains the ingredient integrity and quality. 

Question:  Why should I use soft chews?

Answer:  Soft chews provide a bonding experience for your dog and you. Soft chews can be used in training or as treats. Soft chews are better tasting than capsules and tablets and less messy than liquids or powders.

Question:  My dog is really picky and does not like to eat the treats. How do I get them to eat them?

Answer:  We suggest crumbling the soft chews and mixing them with their food. You may also mask the soft chews with peanut butter (xylitol free), hot dog, etc.

Question:  What is the shelf life of Tummy Treats?

Answer:  The shelf life is approximately 18 months.

Question:  How should I store Tummy Treats?

Answer:  You should store Tummy Treats in a cool, dry area.
